A requirement of the CCSS approval is to ensure care provided and vacancy information is passed through to the government and displayed on the Child Care Finder website.
You can access your Care Provided and Vacancy Details section by selecting Centres from the menu and Profiles from the drop down options. Select the CCSS Details tab, then scroll down until you reach the Care Provided and Vacancy Details section.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
In Kangarootime, submitting care provided and vacancy data that you have added or changed, is an automated process. If you make changes to required Centre details, the system will submit those changes within an hour. As required, vacancies for the following week will be submitted on a Friday evening after 6:00pm AEST.
Care Provided and Vacancy Details
This will display the details that have been entered into the set up of your centre profile, if this information is not correct or has changed, you will need to go to your centre profile to update the information.
Care Types Provided
This information is populated from when you are setting up your classes. If the care types are not displaying correct information you will need to review the classes you have created to ensure they have the correct care types assigned.
Vacancies
All five days of the week are selected as default to have No Vacancies (boxes are unticked). You need to change these manually to reflect what you want to report to CCSS for the following week.
Fees and Inclusions
As they are presented on the Child Care Finder website, you will see the highest fee linked per age group as well as any inclusions involved in that fee. Under the Vacancies information, you can go through your fee details and tick any inclusions in that fee. Once you have selected your inclusions, select Save in the bottom right of the screen.
Fee URL
If you would prefer to use a URL directly linked to your website that has fee information, you can provide that under Fee URL.
