This article is to assist you with the terminology used in Kangarootime that you may need clarification on.
Business Profile: These are the details of the organisation that your centre belongs to.
You may have previously referred to this as: Providers, Admin.
Centre Profile: These are the details of the centre/s that run under your business.
You may have previously referred to this as: Service.
Classes: These are the details of the classroom/s available in your centre.
You may have previously referred to this as: Rolls, Rooms.
Accounts: These are profiles that hold all of the families' enrolment information such as children, contacts, contracts, CCS Enrolments, billing and payment details.
Contracts: A contract details the days of attendances, the fees associated and classroom/s that a child will utilise in your centre. You will find this in the Account under the Contracts tab.
You may have previously referred to this as: Bookings, Schedules, Booking Patterns.
Transactions: When session fees are charged to the account, or there are payments made on the account (CCS subsidies, Kindy Funding, Direct Debit payments etc.), these will show as transactions on the account.
You may have previously referred to this as: Receipts, Payments.
Employee: This is any persons working within the organisation that has a profile created for them in Kangarootime.
You may have previously referred to this as: Staff.
Attendance: This is a list detailing the children who will be attending the centre for each specified day as per their contracted or casually booked sessions. The Attendance screen is where sessions are able to be marked with time entries, or as absent for each day.
You may have previously referred to this as: Rolls, Master Roll
Checked In/ Checked Out: This is the terminology used to acknowledge the time a child has arrived or left the centre.
You may have previously referred to this as: Signed In/Signed Out.
Health and Wellness: These are the details of the child's allergies, dietary requirements, immunisations and any other medical conditions.
You may have previously referred to this as: Health and Medical, Medical, Immunisations.
