How do I mark a child as on Holiday?

When a child is going to be absent from the centre for a holiday, there is a specific Absence type, Holiday that you can use (see step 2 below).  If you also have a specific holiday fee that you charge families, follow both steps below.

Step 1:  Change and Save the appropriate Holiday fee for the child 


Navigate to Attendance in the menu, and select Attendance/Bookings from the drop down options. 

Go to the '... ' across from the child's name on the right

Select View/Edit

Select Edit

Change the child's fee to the appropriate holiday fee and then Save




Step 2: Set the Absence type to Holiday


On the Attendance screen > Go to the '... ' across from the child's name on the right

Select the A icon

Set the Absence type to Holiday then Save



The attendance will then appear as marked Absent for Holiday



Repeat this two step process for each day that the child will be away on holiday.
